As independent voters and as an independent candidate, we face diverse challenges when entering the field of politics for the purpose of empowering our fellow citizens and the betterment of our community, whether at the local, state, or national levels. Answering the call of this and other great and noble causes involves certain costs that the larger and more heavily funded parties can take for granted. As it is with many of the issues that are near and dear to the hearts of all voters that are not taken for granted, so too are we conscientious of the cost in time, energy, sweat, and money... not to mention the importance of our participation in this once free process. We realize and share in the significance and the burdens of the times we live in, and it is with sincere gratitude that we express our appreciation for any funds that will help us to financially compete with the bigger Republican and Democrat machines..
